John Voris

Founder / President

Trustworthy | Inspiring | Entrepreneurial

John Voris got his start in the Dry Utility Industry in the fifth grade while assisting his dad, an electrical contractor, building spec homes and later through commercial improvement projects while attending UCSD. In more than two decades, through serving as a consultant and eventually founding his own company, John has established a reputation of integrity, professionalism, and expertise in the industry. John not only motivates people to be their best but shares ideas, designs and helps with strategic decisions to ensure projects receive the best engineering solutions possible.

Wife, four kids, and six surfboards…life is full for this Southern California native and longtime resident of San Clemente!

Gabriel Guy

Associate

Resourceful | Technical Expert | Team Player

A very capable and versatile Dry Utility design professional, Gabriel has over 10 years of experience providing technical oversight, applicant design review, due diligence and project design input for both private land developments and public works projects. Having worked at SCE for 8 years as a Senior Planner, he brings a wealth of design and project management experience to E4 in providing innovative solutions for complex engineering problems that affect the function, cost and visual impact of projects.

Gabriel proudly served in the U.S. Navy and is a self-proclaimed nerd who enjoys gaming, whether it be on a tabletop or a computer.

Deanne Flickner

Senior Project Manager

Responsive | Diligent | Resourceful

Deanne has over 16 years of experience in the Dry Utility Industry. She has successfully managed projects working side by side with such developers as Standard Pacific Homes, Lennar, and K. Hovnanian Homes serving as a liaison between the developer and the utility companies for the planning of new residential and commercial projects throughout the Southern California region. Deanne not only works hard to provide clients with a complete product but also strives to offer her developers a low-stress experience throughout their time working together.

When she’s not working, Deanne enjoys cooking, traveling, going to Las Vegas, and spending time with her family.

Nicole Caplan

Senior Project Manager

Fostering Relationships | Results-Focused | Detailed

Nicole came to the Dry Utility Industry with valuable background experience in real estate and understands the importance of deadlines and budget constraints. She has successfully coordinated and managed projects working with such developers as Pulte Homes, Lennar Homes of California and Frontier Communities. Nicole is credited with a high degree of diplomacy in resolving problems, without sacrificing customer relations.

Nicole is a loving and proud single mother of an amazing nine-year-old daughter. She believes being a mother is the most important of jobs and considers it a privilege and one of her greatest accomplishments.

Ryan Schneider

Senior Project Manager

Creative Solutions | Technical Ability | Eager to Teach

Ryan has worked for nearly 10 years in the Dry Utility Industry. He is recognized as a creative and knowledgeable professional, skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with clients and utility agencies.

As a Project Manager, Ryan is actively engaged throughout the entire duration of the project and brings a proactive approach to problem solving. He has excellent rapport with utility agencies and contractors and has an eye for anticipating construction related issues and working to eliminate them during the planning and design phases.

Ryan is an avid sports fan and enjoys visiting breweries and spending time with family and friends.
